A cookie is a small note a site asks your browser to hold, so a later visit can remember a fact. This page explains the one preference this desk stores, and the measurement cookies it leaves unused. It belongs with the privacy notice.
The kinds of storage in view
Essential storage remembers a choice you have already made, such as whether the notice at the foot of the page should stay closed. Analytics, or measurement, storage would count visits in aggregate. Advertising storage would follow you between sites. Clarity Quarry uses essential preference storage only.

Accept and reject
Accept stores the choice as accepted. Reject stores the choice as rejected. Both close the notice. After Reject, every page, the journal, and the visit form stay available on the same site.
Third parties
Pages are set in typefaces loaded from Google Fonts, which is a request to Google’s font service when a page opens. That request is not a cookie set by Clarity Quarry, and the desk does not receive a profile from it. No advertising network is invited onto these pages.
How to clear or block the preference
You can remove cq_consent and the local storage key in your browser’s site settings for clarityquarry.click. You can also block cookies for this site entirely. If the preference is removed, the notice appears again on the next visit so you can choose once more. With cookies blocked, the journal, the fees, and the visit form remain available. The visit request is sent by the form.
If storage fails
Some browsers refuse storage in private windows. The notice may then appear on every page. The sittings, the map descriptions, and the form still work. A line on the page will say if the choice itself could not be saved.
